About Us

Established in 1965, Mahal is one of London’s oldest Indian restaurants. Open from 12 noon to 12 midnight, we have a fully Halal menu. For a light meal, our menu offers popular Indian street food snacks, fresh salads, delicious chai, and refreshing lassis and mocktails. For a fuller meal, we have Hyderabadi Biryani, Delhi style Butter Chicken, desi style Haandi dishes, and lots of vegetarian options. We are family friendly and have options for our younger guests as well. We look forward to welcoming you to Mahal.

We have been looking after our locals and regulars since 1965! We have friends who have moved away from the area, but always come back and visit us when they are near the Edgware Road again. Friends with fond childhood memories of Mahal, who now bring their own children and come and dine with us!
